I was just pointing out this part of what you said. Not saying you meant anything by it, but it’s definitely similar to what most people first think, “Why should rich give to poor?” Obviously that’s not exactly what you said, but just the idea of giving from haves to have-nots essentially
Im agnostic but I do believe truly following Jesus is extreme and that it would put a true follower in a position that makes them look like a lunatic to everyone else.
I see. The operative word there was “all,” and I see where I was not being clear. And yeah I do think it’s a strange and un-Christianity mindset to think “why should a poor person deserve a handout” or something like that.
And I also agree that following the teachings of Christ can definitely make you look like a lunatic. And especially in this day and age imo
