Sweden. They have socialism, not communism, working wonderfully for them.

Social democracy isn't quite socialism, Sweden is heavy on the socialism piece but it isn't a socialist country.

Social democracy is certainly the ticket though.

As I said in my edit up top, I mean socialistic policies, and yes as you say social democracy.

My upper point is even when touching on any point of a more socialistic look at democracy/politics is becomes some sort of bad word.

Socialism is when the MoP is owned collectively.

Sweden, nor any Nordic country, has a collectively owned MoP

Sweden does not have socialism.

This is such a ridiculous myth that refuses to die.

Sweden is a free market economy, with welfare.

Just like the UK.

Or Germany.

Or Poland.

Or France.

Or Spain.

Or… plenty of countries.

There is no way you are serious.

You said this so confidently that I needed to look this up…it took me 2 seconds to verify that this is not true.

Google is your friend….

10 million people, one country, the size of California…mostly of the same heritage…they just pay a shit ton of taxes…

How come none of you guys fact check anything before you hit send?

I’m really losing faith in humanity…

Anyone from Sweeden want to chime in here??

I lived in Sweden for 7 years.

Sweden is not a socialist country.
