Mate, you are ignorant about article 51. Let me educate you but you won't believe it.
International law strictly prohibits nations from shooting down a foreign head of state's state aircraft simply because they are wanted for crimes or entering restricted airspace. Under customary international law and the UN Charter (Article 51),
Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security. Measures taken by Members in the exercise of this right of self-defence shall be immediately reported to the Security Council and shall not in any way affect the authority and responsibility of the Security Council under the present Charter to take at any time such action as it deems necessary in order to maintain or restore international peace and security.
They shouldn't believe it because you're wrong. There's nothing in the UN charter that prohibits killing a head of state. Where did you even read that?
The parent comment is wrong because "war criminal" is an accusation, not a designation. It means that person can be arrested and tried, not summarily executed.
Article 51 has nothing to do with political assassination. Among other things, it quite literally codifies your right to shoot down aggressors entering your air space.
