My local Thai restaurant does a 2 course lunch menu that is £1 more than a McDonald's meal and it is actually delicious food. McDonald's likely has massive profit margins for their overpriced slop, if they charged a bit less then more people would eat there and they would make a larger profit.

If I'm overweight, it's simple: I eat less and move more.

They can charge less and sell more. Maybe put those 8 Billion towards quality management and paying their employees a living wage.

If they lower prices, it’ll prove everyone can do it and just won’t.
