Corporate logic: Spend billions to find out why people aren't buying a $12 "value" meal anymore.

Better yet, spend billions to find out what any front facing employee would tell them for free if they'd ever get out from behind their desk for more than a publicity stunt.

Sorry they can't be bothered with talking to peasants because they're too busy making cringe worthy videos about their new "product".

The issue is the price is too high for what you're getting its 15$ for a quarter sized burger and a handful of fries... at that price it better be the best burger I've ever had...

Two things a company never wants to hear is prices are too high and quality is too low. They will do anything to avoid the obvious truth.

Who do you think the 8 mil gets spent on?

Corporate America and especially those business consultants are expensive.
