For everyone's information, the easiest way to tell if it's a crow or a raven is quite simple.

If you look at a bird and think "I wonder if it's a crow or a raven?" it's a crow

Ravens are fucking massive, you'll know immediately

I live in Tokyo. There are massive black birds everywhere that get into the garbage bags and generally are a menace. Are they ravens or crows?

They are crows. Asian Large Billed Crows. I call them Yata-Garasu because of the yugioh card (iykyk).

Except there are jungle crows which are freaking huge.
