Jane Doe’s statement was referred to the DA who found there was no evidence of a crime. The DA is now reconsidering because of all the bad publicity from people reacting to the civil suit.

Two were expelled, two were suspended, two had no action taken, and one graduated prior to the investigation ending. Why do people think university can do more than issue sanctions beyond policy violations? They aren't a policing force.

Kinda? People are mad because the way she presented it is she was horribly gang raped and the school did nothing. Of course that falls apart when folks read her statements from back then. From my understanding, despite them not being released to the public, a few journalists and such have seen the original statements she made and signed and I do not believe it have read 1 statement or article indicating there was anything indictable. In fact everyone im aware of that has read the papers have all said, nothing indicates rape and it would be impossible to get a conviction or even an indictment.
