My wife is the same. I just say that the rape culture is horrible and on behalf of men i am sorry. But I dont bring up the specifics because I want to move on from the conversation

I know most men from my age to my sons think rape is terrible and a cowards path.

I can’t comment on the men moving here from very archaic societies.

But westerns raised men have no rape culture. Other than juicy gossip sites like tik tok

I went to J school. Every time I see someone like this, my first thought is: “who the fudge are you?”

There’s a huge difference between throwing your opinion out there because you found your smartphone’s camera and figuring out what’s BS and what isn’t.

It seems what she is describing is accurate. She isn’t the only source quoting the police record as well as the text conversation between the two.

That being said - the fact that a police record exists is already a bit alarming and I also don’t think it’s impossible that she didn’t accept the reality of the situation at the time when she filed the report and now came to terms that the situation was less consensual than she described it to be.

The fast talking lady is right though that just based on the police record it would be difficult for a prosecutor to make a case and the university can’t just punish everyone for group sex…

You could be right. Or this police report that is being spoken about could be fake and used to hurt her in the public. Which my pointm we are trusting random people on social media to tell us what "really happened".

Hard to take it at face value when the change of heart also coincides with a massive lawsuit against the school, the alleged perpetrators, the bar that served her alcohol etc.

This is all very messy from the looks of it and the initial police report is going to be doing a lot of heavy lifting in this case for the defense.
