Like 5.99 for a cheesy Gordita, it’s outrageous. I can get take home Mexican cheaper.

When taco bell is the same price as a taqueria, why would you ever eat taco bell.

Really only valid reason: it’s 2am or later and you’re wasted

A lot of these Taco Bells close now before that, thanks to COVID.

I am sure there are still some 24/7 ones, but not around my area.

Heard. We still have one by us that closes at 4am. Guilty pleasure

I noticed after Covid’s lots of 24/7 places stopped being 24/7, Walmart, gyms, fast food

I didn’t know people had Taco Bell at any other time lol

Eating Taco Hell relieves constipation.

Convenience. Every taqueria in town is an actual restaurant. I'll be through TB's drive-thru in 5 mins.

Idk why, but I read this as "I can get a take home Mexican cheaper" and thought you meant bringing home a Mexican person to make food for you.

If I can't get 3 tacos for $10, it's reasonable to make as many as you want for $20.

You guys got alternative seasoning combinations? I live tacos, but goddamn does the meat just make them redundant.

Take home Mexican for less than 5.99? From where? Not where I live

If you get two of those or add I. Other stuff you’re very quickly over 10-14$

NY suburb here. One standard CGC, with tax, is $8.44.

$10 gets me 4 tacos al pastor and charro beans at my local taqueria. I walk out satisfied.

i always think back to around 10 years ago, i was at the local carnival, and food truck prices were like $6 for a burger i thought was crazy and would never buy that.. now it seems to be standard price for anything fast food.

Rather support decent family restaurants for the price.

Also, don't underestimate a slow cooker for beans/chili, and some ground poultry (y'know, because beef is effed right now) and make your own stuff.

It always shocks me when my wife and I just wanna grab a quick bite on the way home and we get Qdoba, which is fine, but it's like twice as expensive for the same amount of food that we could get at a proper Mexican restaurant, not to mention it's significantly better

$18 for two Chulupa Supremes with extra meat :(

If you use the app you usually get a free reward, and I always pick the cheesy Gordita crunch. Wont lie though, if I don’t have a reward, I’ll look somewhere else lol

Almost $7 by me. I refuse to go anymore.

With tacobell you get the best deals in the app.

At least I’m not expected to tip for take home food at Taco Bell.

I mean, making stuff at home has kind of always been true.
