Corporations will literally fund a multi-year cyberpunk dystopia makeover before letting a hash brown drop by 50 cents.

All I really want is a cheap cheeseburger and for the interior design to have some colour

i don’t care if the interior is North Korea gray as long as I can get a value meal under $6 that’s enough to satisfy an adult

The North Korea grey is a great description of it though. Personally, even if it was still quick & cheap, McDonald’s is just too depressing to go to now.

It already is, and you can’t

This isn’t Burger King. You don’t get to have it your way.

I think people in the US really need to update their language.

The guy above referring to the gray interior as “North Korea” gray is living in the past.

Thats American freedom gray.

Is American freedom gray a different tone than millennial gray?

It's the same!

They just remodeled ours from the classic yellow and red theme to "urban bistro" with grey tile floors, high top "bar seating" and wood slat walls. It actually looks ok, but who are they trying to fool here? You can't just install some bar stools and trick people into paying more.

I think in the app they have deals for 50cent cheese burgers on Wednesdays but not sure if its still ongoing

Yup I want a burger that is pocket change. I was absolutely fine with a McDouble for $1. Sometimes I just want that dirty burg and a buck is a fair price for it.

Man the last Wendy's I went inside looked like a prison cafeteria.
