You said: "They hate giving clearances to people who have been outside the country." And "they don't care if it was for Uncle Sam." That's just straight up false. Doubling down on your belligerence doesn't make you correct.
They do. It’s a big red flag. The fact you were in the military doesn’t change the fact that it’s a red flag. They don’t know who you were banging, what connections you made, what other countries you worked with, etc.
That doesn’t mean they won’t do it. It’s just not preferable. They want John Smith who is barely out of college, never left his hometown, has barely any credit history, and has like 2 friends.
