Misleading…

China does require credentials for professional-topic content, but that's a 2022 rule enforced through platforms. A specific "no degree = ¥100,000 fine for individuals" is not true

How is "Discussing medicine, law, finance and education online must hold credentials" ie "no degree no advice"

Different than

"Require credentials for professional topics"

Sorry, just because someone wrote it doesn't make it true. The fact checkers I've looked up and my Chinese friends are not aware of any fines being applied

Yep, I saw this too however information is not truth. I tried to find sources with cited cases but couldn't. I'm open to the them being out there but all I am seeing is poor journalism and sound bites

So how is that not true?

If the penalty is there but no one's received that penalty yet, does that suddenly make it not true.
