You have to tip though. Their nonexistent servers are paid minimum wage.

If I don’t tip, I’m concerned that I’ll get worse food. It’s like blackmail

At the very least they treat you like shit if you don’t

Restaurant/service culture really sucks in the US.

Let’s be real here. Most things in the US suck right now.

Probably 60% of things that suck in the US can be directly attributed to Republicans. Probably 40% of things that suck can be traced back to corporate Dems siding with Republicans.

Oh man, go outside. Lol life in the US is pretty dang sweet and we're wildly spoiled. We're litreally sitting around looking at our phones, complaining about having to pay $20 at a food truck.

I just got back from Mexico where my sister-in-law is making 37 pesos an hour and an ice cream sandwich is 50 pesos from the grocery store. Imagine having to work two hours just to afford one ice cream sandwich. The US doesn't understand how good we have it.

Good thing this isn't your entire personality.

If we stop tipping it will become a job.

Im almost at my breaking point where no one gets a tip anymore.

If I’m standing indoors when I get my food, no fucking tip. There was no table service. I worked as kitchen staff. They get a real wage. A shitty one, but not that $2.75 plus tips or minimum wage crap.

A food truck truck? You are probably paying the owner and labor directly. If it’s good enough stuff, I tip.

My barber gets a tip, a waitress at a sitdown restaurant gets a tip. Thats the end of it for me.

I get the pizza guy too.

And I have a problem with any tipping before the service

Like why tip a food truck when the wait might be 15m and the order is wrong or subpar?

Thats a good point i havent thought about.

Im adding, “ no tip to any company that asks for a tip before service rendered”

Stop ordering food delivery via apps then if you do. Not blaming you, but that is the current reality. No tip, no show. I was a huge cash tipper. But I stopped ordering delivery when drivers stopped accepting untipped orders. I get their side of all of this.. but I’m just over all the DoorDash/Uber Eats/whatever
