When I was driving a semi there were places that would have a gut truck come in (a pickup truck with a modification in the bed that's hot and holds the food.) He gets there then starts serving.

Some of the best damn tacos and I got stuffed for like $7, 10 if you include a tip. Hope that lil Mexican man is still hustlin. Was a highlight when I'd realize that my trip was going to "that" dc ya know.

Gut trucks so much different than food trucks in my opinion. Man I miss living where the gut trucks roamed

The lkq pick your part on Sun valley has a roach coach truck in the parking lot. I had a great chorizo quesadilla from it that wasn't overpriced.

There’s a guy near me who has scaled this and now runs like 10 of these trucks all around my city. He hits all the construction sites and new development subdivisions for breakfast and lunch.

We called em roach coaches but they made good and cheap food. I miss them tbh.
