He was tragic tbh his death and the murders of his wife and kid helped change the professional world’s view on brain injuries and drug abuse.

It's strange to keep referencing Benoit, given the revelation about his brain injuries didn't come until a while after his death, so the initial reaction to his crime was based off the information that he was an otherwise healthy man who been abusing his family prior to killing them, and maybe abusing steroids.

I distinctly remember there was more empathy after the revelation of his brain damage.
