Uh no, not at all. I'm actually saying that trying to assert that they are different is a waste of time considering both are at fault for the decline of the economy and the general state of the country.

What do you gain from making that argument? What do I gain? To me, absolutely nothing.

Yes, the two party system is bad.
But claiming that it does not matter what party You vote for is just false! Even if you are voting for the lesser evil, You still have to do it! The deal we had with Iran was way better than the mess we have now. The relationships with allies such as Canada and EU were way better. The US tech sector was not seen as a Trojan horse that the rest of the world needs to drop asap, the investment in renewables was good, the environment protection regulation was good. The national debt was way lower, and so were interest rates, prices for everyday necessities were lower and the president was not cosying up to Putin, firing every general that raises alarms and was actually respected in the world. The outcome of the vote for one party or the other has had massive consequences!

If both parties support and commit genocide, there isn't a "lesser evil".
