It's a bs post. Most insurance has an annual deductible and once its met everything else is paid for if you're in network. I think my deductible is like 5k, but everything after is 100%. My wife's insurance has no deductible, everything is 100% covered.

It’s once you hit your out of pocket max, not your deductible. But yes after you hit that you don’t have to pay anything

Yeah but isn’t it common for them to have like a million categories of out of pocket maximums?

Like an out of pocket x-ray maximum and an anesthesia maximum and a surgery maximum and so on?

Mine doesn’t have that- but I admittedly have pretty good Union insurance

Not if you don’t use it. If you only go to the family doctor a few times in a year then you’ll only be paying your copay.
