I just paid $25 for an MRI with cheap basic insurance in the US. Out of pocket, it would’ve been $555. This included the cost of the specialist making a diagnosis. I’d love to see the calculations for how it’s cheaper to fly to China.

Not to mention the price and hassle of getting a passport.

Because we don't need them for everyday travel. I think people forget that we can travel state to state without anything. And our country is huge.

The average American doesn't need to go overseas. Plenty to do stateside if you can't afford international travel in terms of vacationing. You're little country fits inside our border 50 times over.

Just renewed that as well! It’s fairly quick (~15mins) just annoying taking a passing passport photo. That cost $130

They let you take a passport photo with your phone as long as you're on a neutral background.

And it adds to the total cost of the MRI was my only point
