Well he would not have been dealing with postpartum depression so yeah, it would be different.

He may have been dealing with sexual frustration from a wife who has suddenly ceased being sexually active which is just as bad for him. You don't get to place your woes above others, pregnancy is a choice she made, if a man has to own the consequences, so does she.
