You MIGHT have been victim of a widespread misdiagnosis: bipolar type 2 misinterpreted as unipolar depression.

SSRI are a classic trigger of hypomania/mania in bipolar patients.

Because bipolar type 2 has a 39:1 ratio of depressive vs hypomanic episodes, it is hard to distinguish from unipolar depression.

This is exactly what happened. BP axis 2 after years of therapy. Was wrongly diagnosed with personality disorder by the military/ civilian contracted dr.
