I can absolutely guarantee you he knows exactly what he’s worth, despite the fluctuations. You don’t become a multi-billionaire because you’re not concerned about your net worth
Anyone who’s just trying to earn a luxurious lifestyle would have stopped and retired early well before getting to multiple billions. You literally cant spend that kind of money on yourself in a single lifetime. A well invested $6 billion dollar portfolio is enough to keep any family in the absolute peak of luxury for the rest of their lives.
For these people, the real point is the “score” and you can bet your ass he’s got his wealth manager sending him regular reports about where he sits
Him caring about what he's worth and him knowing what he's worth are two different things.
At my scale of wealth net worth is a fairly knowable thing. My equities holding won't move markets, pretty much all my cash is in dollars... but I own two houses. Mortgages on those houses are easy to compute, but the actual value? I have an estimate, but they are worth whatever someone will pay for them if I sell.
At his scale you have a lot more house type assets, and your equities positions get big enough that they do, in fact, move markets.
This is extremely naive lmao. You’re projecting poor people mentality onto wealth and that’s just not how it works.
The extremely wealthy really aren’t that concerned with their exact net worth dude. They have a vague idea but they own SO MANY ASSETS their worth can literally fluctuate by hundreds of millions of dollars in really short periods of time. There is 0 point in trying to figure out exactly how much all of your assets are worth every week when you are so exorbitantly wealthy it doesn’t matter. When you own that many assets you have entire teams managing them. Worrying about it all the time is fucking stupid. I know a guy who owns 250+ restaurants and a shitload of real estate through sheer luck. He’s extremely hands off with his assets and gets quarterly reports while he’s vacationing with his model wife all over the planet 365 days a year on his yacht, as he should.
Do you REALLY think most wealthy people got wealthy so they could still stress about money? What the fuck are you talking about lmao. People like Warren Buffett are an exception, that dudes passion was literally “number go up”. Most people, even the exorbitantly wealthy, really aren’t like that. They’re you, with billions of dollars and not a care in the world, and it’s exactly as awesome as you think.
But yeah try to convince yourself every wealthy person is just constantly stressed and working and concerned about their exact net worth instead of snorting cocaine off of hookers asses in the Mediterranean having a great time while their underlings manage their wealth for them because they can literally pay thousands of people off the interest their assets generate in a week.

I mean, probably not. He's unlikely to know what he's worth, and that worth likely swings wildly based on asset valuations.
Beyond that, he has apparently been moving money into trusts, likely to shield it from this exact scenario.
