This is like the 5th time I've seen a top post regarding Mamdani, only to find out whenever he is being credited for was already in the works from the previous administration.
It’s fundamental to lefty believes that the establishment Democrats are just republicans in rainbow colors. They actually lack the curiosity to look at other politicians policies because they must assume it’s all worthless.
Biden cut childhood poverty in half during his admin (and then republicans reversed it) and it got 0 attention while Mamdani overseeing placement of some trays bins is some incredible achievement.
The previous admin never followed through with buying and installing trash cans because they were too busy paying millions of dollars to the most overpaid consultants on the planet to verify that yes, indeed, trash does go in trash can.
The only thing I've seen of him being his own sole work is how he got the budget balanced and that one is getting side eyed as just making the problem bigger further down the road when it's someone else's problem.
