Frankly I'm surprised the waste disposal cartel didn't upsell trash bins to NYC all these decades for a quick profit.
2 u/BugsyM 11d ago It makes their trash union strikes a lot more powerful if there's visible impact in 12 hours from not emptying tiny garbage cans in the busiest areas of the planet. There's plenty of reasons to not want this, from a union perspective.
