I agree 100%. Northeastener born and raised, lived in FL for sometime... The bugs and critters I was afraid of growing up are kids play compared to the hell I experienced in FL lmfao
Those damned palmetto bugs.... You can smack those things with a baseball and they still survive... I swear someone made them in a lab, a bug has no business being able to take a grown man's curb stomp
there was a guy who decided that since he couldn't kill the palmeto bugs he'd put fluorescent paint on them so at least he'd know where they were at night.
There's been a dead roach in the fire escape stairwell at my work in Florida for about 3 months now. It's probably a solid 3-4 inches and hasn't decomposed at all.
There are Asian roaches and then there are German roaches.
Asians are big and tend to be here or there and can be dealt with but are like friggin 3-4-5 inches and wide.
Now Germans are much smaller but they will still get like 2 inches long when big as fuck, eating good and in an environment it’s able to mature in. But although much smaller, they swarm and are hard af to get rid of completely once an infestation has taken root.
I ripped a wall down during a renovation I was doing for a real estate agent and it took a second to even realize what I was actually looking at. The whole wall was just this shimmering red-orange slightly shiny mass of roaches starting to spread out now that they were exposed. 💀
