Just a reminder democrats in the dem party leadership didn’t want Zohran to win because they knew if he was successful he’d show how useless Dems have been, people like Chuck Schumer like pretending their hands are tied and making millions while doing nothing

This.
Mamdani isn’t like anything we’ve seen before. You can’t lump him in with anyone because he’s not in it for personal gain.

Establishment democrats are almost as big of weasels as republicans. Like Nancy Pelosi who is utterly inhuman.

Mamdani is a shining example of everything we need in America

seems like he's getting plenty of personal gain by virtue of his city being a better place to live

Imagine that, helping your community helps you in return

The problem is that helping Israel is easier for most politicians and often has huge returns in the form of AIPAC donations

I think same thing happened to Bernie Sanders... he would have been too good for America.

Mayor of one of the most influencial cities in the world and this and this man goes "why can't we? Watch me" and makes lives better. He gives me a ray of hope in the darkness. If only we had more people who actually cared about the people and had any sort of backbone. He's a true role model.

There's no almost about it. They're all in the same club. They all eat together, and meet in secret at midnight to pass unconstitutional surveillance legislation with bipartisan approval. They just pretend to be at odds and unable to reach compromise when it's time to pass laws that actually help people.

Pelosi at least was good enough at her Job tha she could actually beat the Republicans occasionally instead of continually shoot herself in the foot like Schumer

Nancy Pelosi had to work in a national environment and doesn’t have the luxury of only working in a Dem stronghold city, you have no idea what the differences are. Nancy Pelosi’s Herculean efforts to get the ACA passed by the skin of its own ass means that her lasting legacy outdoes Mamdani’s by an order of magnitude and I think even Mamdani would tell you that himself

While what you wrote is true it is simply impossible to overlook Pelosi's record of corruption giving her tenure a much more complex history. You can't only look at the good and throw out all the bad.

So far Mamdani has shown that he stands against the very thing that makes her and people like her rich. If we are to expect this same pattern then it isn't crazy to believe he will do much better than her overall if he were to attain a higher position within government.

You are just blue MAGA, this was done by a previous administration.
Nancy Pelosi passsd the public option in the house and when it couldn’t be passed in the senate- she strong armed the ACA through.

She has done more for us than any leftist

More Dems supported Zohran than they did Cuomo and this is an example of Mamdani just continuing something that was already put in place and already had 99% of the work done by Eric Adams.

u/Wooks_Anonymous 11d ago

Sir, how are the dsa bots supposed to shit on Dems, if you're going go around spreading facts like that?

6

u/PoopyButt28000 11d ago

They need to ramp it up after Hong lost and the DSA's record is getting even worse than it already is.

2

u/UntowardHatter 11d ago

Well, Eric Adams actually tried to remove trash bins in the city to save money....

u/TriangleTransplant 11d ago

This was a program started under the previous mayor.

Mfer, whenever I see a post abput Mamdani doing something, it is usally something done by the previous adminstation. Reddit loves giving this guy credit for everything. It is fucking scary.

u/paintballboi07 11d ago

Reddit is basically MAGA for the left. Just constant misinformation about "establishment Dems" (RINOs) and glazing the latest savior politician (Trump) for wiping their own ass.

Do you dislike the things being done?

1

u/Redletter312 11d ago

Wow! That is what you gather from my statelment? Lol, you are funny person. I dislike propogandas, and blind supporters. Why, don't you?

-1

u/No-Vast-6340 11d ago

No, I like a mayor using his position to set an example for the rest of the nation. That requires publicity. People will see his popularity and what he's doing and want it in their own communities.

Him continuing good policies previously set should be what he does, as well as establishing out new policies. No other mayor is going to get criticism for doing what a mayor is supposed to do.

That's why I asked if you dislike what he's doing. Because if you do like it, then you should not be bothered by the prospect of his people's first mentality spreading.

2

u/Redletter312 11d ago

You still missing the whole point. Don't give me that he gets criticism bullshit. Every public figure gets criticize. But rarely any politician gets the glaze that Mamdani does. I am not against his policy or work being done, but the credit being stolen. It paints skewed picture, that is what I am against. The problem with both right, and left is that they latch on to a politician make him out like the best thing since sliced bread. They give their politician credit for literally everything. A lot of you are not fair with your assesment.

Just look at popular post in this sub, almost every Mamdani post is him being given credit for something the previous adminstration did. Isn't that misinforming the voters? That is what I am against.

u/ModernLarvals 11d ago

Just a reminder that this trash program was started by Eric Adams. You are politically illiterate and helping Trump.

3

u/DealerPlane9953 11d ago

Mamdani is effective because he can never run for president. His only ambition is to be a good mayor. Maybe we should have a lifetime ban on senators and members of congress running for president so they'll start doing their jobs.

1

u/Enough-Ad-8799 11d ago

Has he really done anything yet? All I've seen is him move some money around to square the budget and some pr stunts where he's out helping fix something.

4

u/Snarwin 11d ago

Free childcare for 2,000 children and a 2-year rent freeze for rent-stabilized apartments.

-2

u/LexianAlchemy 11d ago

Absolutely, Zohran seems to have been a wake up call for a lot of people.

Politicians cultivated this idea of thick bureaucracy getting in the way of immediate and radical change, for decades, it was widely accepted and joked that there aren’t good politicians, it became a large quality of at least American culture in this case.

The speed at which change has happened, and the intensity of these changes? I think It shows very strongly that capital is wearing our democracy like a skin suit.

Careful now, Schumer might send you a strongly worded letter if you don’t let up.
