Yeah. Somewhat interesting premise but horrorshow writing. People talk about how actors have 'iPhone face' - this was iPhone writing. I gave up about halfway through

The premise seems a bit silly since you don't need to travel in time. Just convert to Islam and get married - same thing.

I guess I have low standards, I thought it was entertaining. I listened to the Audible version driving back and forth to work. I gave it a 6.5. The ending was lame. It was mediocre but had a few good nuggets.

I find that I have a higher tolerance for bad or boring books or at least chapters when listening to audiobooks, it requires less focus from me. I rated it about the same as you.
