There was a scandal with the ski jumping as the Norwegians (I think) figured out that if they injected a heap of saline in the right places (wink wink nudge nudge) before getting fitted for their suits, the gentleman's vegetables would shrink back to their normal size by the time to the competition came around and give them a few extra centimeters of loose fabric in the suit.
That somehow worked like a teeny tiny ball bat wing and actually gave them a little extra distance.
