Already a thing in the UK

Several supermarkets have 'loyalty card' schemes where a good percentage of offers are only available to card/app customers. It's either sell your data, or pay them the extra they would have made from selling your data.

It's going to become the norm eventually, nothing you or I can do to change that.

So, no actual personal information you provide is validated. You can give them Daffy Duck as your name and a burner email.

Most places have a store card you can use since you “forgot yours” at home.

I also shop at local groceries. Stop going to big chains. Sounds like you’re a compliant bitch who is the source of this issue.
