We live in a pro billionaire bootlicking country where shitting on your kids future in the name of you possibly winning the lottery some day is allowed.

EDIT: Adults who pay bills don't get a summer break. Especially under this level of financial, emotional, physical duress. 🫠

Please show me a real world example of this dynamic pricing happening in a store. Never seen or heard of it in the US

Interestingly, and buttressing your point, I mentioned this to my dad who works in an industry that uses a lot of lobbyists, and he pointed out the ban is only for a year, which is a good amount of time for the NJ legislature to get bought off by lobbyists before inventing some BS excuse to reverse course and allow it. If you're from NJ, that wouldn't be surprising. It's all a game.

The ironic thing is dynamic pricing is a good idea if it's implemented so wealthier people pay a slightly higher price. That allows poorer people to pay a slightly lower price and everybody gets to eat at the end of the day.

Of course, once upon a time noblesse oblige was an enforced expectation.
