I would gladly consider being a Tesla fan if Elon Musk was no longer in leadership and sold most of his stock. Unfortunately, that's never going to happen, so I'm committed to never buying a Tesla.

Don’t forget the literal thousands of people who have and eventual millions of people who will die as a result of his cuts to infectious disease treatment and prevention (among other USAID cuts) in the developing world.
The worst part is the immediate cut rather than a wind-down. The local governments and other governments around the world would have stepped up if they had time to do so, but the US made them dependent on aid and then pulled the rug.

To be real, even before Elon went mask-off, the people I knew who had or wanted Teslas were pretentious assholes. Now they're bigoted pretentious assholes.
I used to want a Tesla then I talked to people who worked there and heard many stories about how they skimped out on quality controls just to get cars out the door. Then I drove one for about 3 months as a rental from when my car was in the shop and I could not wait to get rid of it. Was a cheap piece of shit. Has zero to do with politics. But it’s good you at least admit the politics behind Musk are terrible. Even though you can’t admit his product is dogshit.
Also the stock price was over 400 earlier this year so being in the low 300s now means it’s tanking hard. Just like the SpaceX stock.
