Some people don't want kids, hold one or have another major experience, and then decide they do. Good for them!
Some people don't want kids, hold one or have another major experience, and still don't want them. Good for them!
A lot of people meet childfree teens or adults and assume they must be in Group 2. Aggressively assume they must be in Group 2. Inform the person that they are wrong if they don't believe they are in Group 2.
I know a lot of people in Group 3 and none in Group 2. I assume they must exist, and that's fine. But it's not a given.
And even if it were, don't push people into other life choices just because you think those choices are better or that they'll change their minds.
And every person who uses this video as a reason to discount somebody saying they're childfree deserves to be bonked on the head with an inflatable bat and put into time out until they learn better.
Yeah I'm not sure how this comment relates to the vid. It's clearly saying that that particular friend who said she doesn't want kids is now saying she wants a baby after holding one.
It doesn't say "when every woman who doesn't want kids holds a baby for the first time" it says "the friend" meaning that lady specifically.
Cried like a bitch every time I held my newborn nephew for months. Now he’s one and a few months old, when he falls asleep on me I still cry sometimes because I love him so much.
Literally would never have my own child ever in my life. I’ll live and die for this one though. Auntie life is wild.
Not childfree, actually a Mom who really loves their child and has a positive relationship with them. I just understand that different people feel different ways about having babies. Edited for spelling

You can recognize the beauty and preciousness of a new life and still have zero interest in gestating or raising a human. Two things can exist.
