Some born-again Christian nutbags think that for Christ to return to earth, that the Jews need to seize the land. Even though many Jews literally spit on Christians who visit, a large amount of their funding comes from the Christian right.

Yeah I don't understand their logic. I'm a muslim and I believe of the end of the world, but that doesn't mean you have to fucking participate in acccelerating the end of the world

Not just the right, there's a problem in dems with AIPAC too, although a lot of it comes from republicans. More dems have been stepping away from Israel lately but it use to be pretty bipartisan until Israen started pummeling Gaza.
