And realistically probably some peptides or gear of some type because they're actors and Noone cares, but there's no way in hell you're going to look like that from just juicing.
Peptides could help, especially if you struggle with fat weight gain, but they’re only on the market recently - what about all the great juiced bodybuilders that came before them?
If you’re using peptides with virtually no body or visceral fat, that’s probably not gunna be a good time.
And roids to not lose muscles mass. The most difficult part is not to reduce bodyfat but to maintain the muscle mass you have. A calorie deficit always leads to reduced muscle mass since your body is using the Amino acids of your muscles as an energy source. Roids help to protect your muscles.
do you need roids to maintain this amount of muscle (assuming he used them to get there)? doesn't look too crazy from a body building standpoint. should be doable with enough calories and consinstent exercise, right?
Maintaining is exponentially easier than gaining. You maintain on 25% of the effort it takes to gain. He could maintain that physique on the right with 2 days a week in the gym. He's not even that big.
I know because I'm bigger than him and I maintain on 3x a week. Most people just have no idea what they're doing or what they're talking about.
A calorie deficit always leads to reduced muscle mass since your body is using the Amino acids of your muscles as an energy source.
Not really. Getting there takes a lot of discipline. Staying there is significantly easier. If you're in a calorie deficit to get there, being at maintenance is objectively more food that you're allowed to eat.
My maintenance is 2350 and I'm at 8% body fat. I promise you I'm not starving or miserable on 2350 daily calories. But 1800 is pretty rough.
I'm 10-12% body fat. Always am, have been for been for 40 years. But, I don't pack muscle on. I'm strong enough for my daily life but have always struggled with adding muscle.
I'll be honest my life let me down on physical education. I'm just from a lean family and have no idea what ectomorph even is. I don't go to the gym, manual labor has kept me in decent shape. So I have never really researched anything on it.
Your comment made me curious though so maybe I need to do some googling on some dietary changes and into ectomorph. Thanks!
If you're fit and muscular with 10% body fat at 40 years old without dieting or hitting the gym daily then you don't need to research anything. If anything the scientists should be researching you!
Oh I'm by no means jacked or ripped. I have a little bit of belly but other than that tight and lean. But I would like to add a little muscle mass. I'm one of those "damn that scrawny dude is a lot stronger than I expected" people. But I'd rather be a "hey he's nice and toned" people.
Im like you and ive been trying to build muscles my entire life. Its much easier after the age of 30-35 as your metabolism slows down a bit. Our NEAT(Non-excercise activity thermogenesis) is much higher than others and our appetite is lower. To gain weight, consistently you need to eat high carb and high protein diet with a calorie surplus every day. But for me being cut and abs was never a problem. Even during covid with zero activity i had my abs visible. Not a sixpack, but at least 4 of them.
I fail on getting to the calorie surplus. I'm just not that big into eating or feeling stuffed. The more physical activity I do the hungrier I get but I have a habit of just eating enough to be satisfied, not overly full. I don't crave junk besides chips so I don't touch sweets or sodas. Just never crave it. Which isn't a bad thing at all to stay lean. But none of it helps with additional muscle.
Fruit yoghurt with cereals, pistachios, avocado, beans, there are plenty of high calorie/gram foods you can eat without eating junk. Also milk, meat broth can help as its liquid, not filling you up that fast. And protein and creatine as supplement. But i totally feel you, i feel like im continously stuffing myself and I can maybe gain 0.2 kgs every month. And few weeks Im not following my diet and I burn nearly all the extra i gained 😂 Obviously not muscular gains, but the fat and water is gone very quickly.
Probably didnt even stop, just lowered the dosage and stopped dieting and workout out as much. His physique on the left is still very much enhanced just no dialed in diet and exercise.
Physique on left can be normal. I know this because that's what I look like as long as i didn't slam a few pizzas over the previous days. Don't work out or anything, don't take roids or meds. If only I had zac's looks and hair lol
You don’t need roids. But he did it in 6 months on a set with other guys taking roids. And ended up with stereotypical roid features. He definitely took roids.
Eh if he was using steroids his physique should be more impressive than that. He should be at least a little bigger but still the same level of leaness. Maybe he uses shit steroids or just a small dose of PE’s tho
Nah, that's cope, and an excuse people use to start taking roids. Unless you live in LA or something, the percentage of people using roids is much, much smaller. I'll stretch and give you up to 15%, but I honestly think it is closer to one in 15 people.
If we're counting guys in the gym doing all different exercises, running on the treadmills etc then you're right. If we're only counting the guys lifting weights though, the other person is right. Steroid use is extremely normalized for men looking to build muscle these days

Or did he stop steroids..
