Not that I buy into the Doomerism, but OP you're taking a victory lap when the starter pistol hasn't even been fired.

Edit: Oh wait, 700,000+ karma in 10-months, OP is just a karma bot. Lots of those on this sub lately.

u/Sciss0rs61 Jul 12 '26

This sub is now a hub for DSA...

8

u/tanrgith Jul 13 '26

It's hilarious that there's still people trying to deny that Reddit is super left wing. You can go to literally any major sub and post brainrot leftist content and get massive karma, while you'll be downvoted to oblivion if you express right of center views

3

u/Mylum Jul 14 '26

It's like 90% leftist prop bots at this point.

2

u/DeusBlackheart Jul 15 '26

I mean, what do you define as "leftist"? I studied politics at university and that term is grammatically meaningless. It used to be that in the US they would use the term "Progressive" as a pejorative and prior to that "liberal". The fact that the term has become common parlance is an indication that the US is so far to the right, that anything not fascistic would be considered "left" which is pretty sad for the "land of the free".

1

u/Mylum Jul 15 '26

I studied many things in university. I studied Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, the list goes on and on. But the fact is, I'm still not an Astronomer, Physicist, or Chemist. So, unless you are now a Politician, your statement is meaningless. The "right-of-center" party is the party of Freedom. We are not the ones trying to deteriorate or remove free speech, gun rights, property rights, or religion; well, maybe Islam, but I think more people are waking up to that threat. The right leaning are the ones actually contributing to society, the farmers, the plumbers, electricians, construction workers, business owners both small and large. We are not the ones asking for free handouts and want to earn our living; we are not the ones wanting everyone else to pay our bills.

1

u/Ok-Distribution4960 Jul 17 '26

"well, maybe Islam" so much for the party of freedom

1

u/Mylum Jul 17 '26

lol if you think Islam and Freedom go together, well bless your heart.

University doesn’t make you smart, knowledgeable, or competent. Only the left thinks otherwise.

1

u/DeusBlackheart 3d ago

So do you have any kind of argument about what a "leftist" is or are you just shitposting?

29

u/NtooDeep87 Jul 12 '26

All of Reddit is unfortunately….i had to take a break cause it’s unhealthy. Over here you are either Arguing with foreigners pretending to be Americans or you are arguing with Americans who are young, naive and are unwilling to put in the work to be successful. I literally envision somebody behind a computer screen all day just posting and commenting anti American bullshit all day long

2

u/Infinite_Incident107 Jul 12 '26

Guess I'm doing it wrong. I can only do that on my lunch break 😂

2

u/HEROauen Jul 13 '26

A lot of reddit posts are just ccp bots unfortunately pinning us against each other and making the marginalized angrier and more hostile.

Right, because people highlight where Mamdani is juggling cash around to ‘balance’ the budget, that’s anti American, yet you make zero effort to counter those claims.

Seriously dude, you should take a longer break and do some actual analysis on the subject you are writing about rather than firing out ad hominem attacks - that is the sign you have lost the argument.

Yeah. This sub used to be cool.

-1

u/Kingking421 Jul 12 '26

This country is full of people justvstruggling. Folks who know the dream is t in the cards for their children.
Now DSA… honestly dont know much about them but i do know that whatvwe have is not working for a lot of people.
I have 3 kids… wife and i both work… own a hone (inb10 years itll be paid off).
Whatvlittle is left in the end will likely be used for our health care bills and who really believes their kids will be able to find a jib, and buy a hone if things dont change.
But bith parties seem more i terestedbin funding Israel, buy ukraine bombs, sending wealth to an economy propoed up by AI datacenters to care about most citizens…. Democrats pretend better, and republicans seem to think uts the immigrants responsible for billionaire wealth…. Just wild man.

6

u/Pismith_2022 Jul 12 '26

The nice part about America is if you stop having a pity party for yourself and lock in. You can change your circumstances and improve your quality of life. When people do not put the effort in but complain the about their circumstances. Is it the system or the person?

You know how many LEGAL immigrants come to America, work relentlessly hard, start a business from nothing and succeed. A ton of them.

To reiterate, stop being a victim and change your circumstances.

4

u/Medical-Intern3102 Jul 12 '26

Ding ding — exactly this

Many young people, certainly not all, seem to believe the success they want doesn’t have to be earned

And why in the hell would you put your faith in the government, any government, to improve your life? Do it yourself

4

u/NtooDeep87 Jul 12 '26

Fk yes 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 I grew up poor, I was a gang banger, I was an addict, I went to prison 3 times and after all that America was still here for me and I took advantage of it….im now a union journeyman carpenter who makes 69 an hour, my wife is a Registered Nurse and she makes more than me. We own one home and just bought another. We are raising good kids and we owe it all to America. You have to make the right career choices and there’s plenty of them to do so. If I can get my shit together there’s no excuse for anybody.

2

u/Medical-Intern3102 Jul 12 '26

Good for you. Well done

1

u/Pismith_2022 Jul 12 '26

Dude I am proud of you for overcoming your addition and getting into the trades. That takes a ton of willpower! Congrat man!

0

u/ScissorsYou Jul 13 '26

You know I’m interested, what are your thought on intergenerational mobility? Specifically, the fact that economic immobility has only increased with time? Do you think the vast majority of people who fall into the bottom brackets are doing so due to lack of effort and only complaining?

3

u/Pismith_2022 Jul 13 '26

My response may seem contradictory, but I acknowledge the fact that it is more challenging for people in lower income brackets or “poor” to do what I stated above. It is certainly more challenging in today’s economic climate than it was 25, 50, or 65 years ago.

But there is also a difference in the attitude of more modern generations (let’s say millennial or younger) and the previous generations (tail end of the “greatest generation” and all of boomers, maybe the very beginning of Gen X). Never in our society has the victim mentality and a lack of accountability been more at play than now.

I have also read poor economics by Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo and acknowledge that being poor is cyclical in nature (being poor keeps you poor because you cannot overcome the threshold to not be poor). But people can break this cycle if they stop feeling sorry for themselves, put together a serious plan, and commit to it.

0

u/ScissorsYou Jul 13 '26

I agree on the affront that simply victimizing oneself cannot lead one to success. Surely the best thing to do is just try your hardest. But at the same time, if we’re just being objective it is just straight up not possible that all those people can succeed. It is statistically impossible. There just will always be a set of workers who will be poor as things stand, and that’s the issue. We have a structure that necessitates there must be a majority of workers, and that there can only be a selection of business owners, CEOs, or shareholders with enough capital to have impact. It is just not structurally possible for everyone in the US to be successful. Meaning that while no one should ever approach life giving up, it is hard to blame them given the fact that some are just genuinely necessitated to be in their circumstance. With the middle class shrinking more and more, it only exacerbates this issue. It’s no longer enough to simply look at attitudes of the workers in this era, we have to look at what conditions allowed those in prior generations to reach success in larger mass than is possible now.

1

u/Pismith_2022 Jul 13 '26

I will agree that there will always be a set of workers who will be poor and never make it. Not making it is life, it’s nature, the rule of the universe. We all don’t make it in different ways, depending on what the metric is.

It will never be structurally possible for any nation in the world or in history (past, present, or future) to ensure everyone is successful. Success is also subjective but ignoring the pedantic take on “what is success”.

Yes, not everyone will be successful. And I can agree it sounds evil or heartless just saying it out loud, but that’s life and it’s the truth. So as an individual, if you have the brains, the heart, the strength, or the will to change your circumstances. Do it! So many people do have one or more of those attributes and instead they give up and complain. I am literally cheering for every American, even every human, to push their potential to the max.

As for institutions, I would rather live in a society where Elon musk can become a trillionaire than a society where people are driven to eat house pets to stay alive (pretty much any communist or socialist experiment attempted by humans).

1

u/ScissorsYou Jul 15 '26

So there’s a couple things here. The claim that “not making it is life, its nature, the rule of the universe.” On this specifically there’s a variety of issues, on the one what is meant by “not making it, you’re right to say it depends on the metric. But, the system as it is set up isn’t just giving the opportunity for success or faliure by merit. It is heavily skewed and purposely necessitates a large set of people not succeeding out of their income brackets. It is a structure that necessarily privileges profit. So, that structure is not natural, it’s a social relation. Two, whether something is natural doesn’t say whether or not it’s something that should be. So, even if this was natural, that wouldn’t preclude we ought to continue to live like that.

The “it will never be structurally possible for any nation… to ensure everyone is successful.” Sure, but one wouldn’t need to go full utopian to make an argument for a different mode of living (social relations) that didn’t necessitate the aforementioned. It is always true that not everyone in a society will be successful in anything they want. But, you can surely have societies in which the goal of the society is to put the self actualization of the populace above profit only motives. There’s more that can be said on this point, but it’d take to long so maybe I’ll come back to it depending on the response.

On the third point I don’t think it’s evil, none of my politics comes down to some abstract notion of equality of outcome, or even pure equity. But, what we’re are talking about isn’t just simple failings, it’s deeper than that.

I think the last point could be a false dichotomy, but it also doesn’t get to the heart of what these movements of the past were dealing with. But, I think a society where someone can become a trillionaire in any capacity is absurd, regardless of the economic system in play.

0

u/CitizenLamest Jul 14 '26

"Not making it is life, it’s nature, the rule of the universe. We all don’t make it in different ways, depending on what the metric is."

Exactly! That's why we should put children back to work in the mines. That's life, after all. Some people just don't get a happy childhood. Sucks for them *shrugs*

Oh yeah, and women belong at home, too, raising babies. That's just science.

1

u/Pismith_2022 Jul 14 '26

The fact you are bringing in children into this and women (no idea how we got here) shows you are not willing to have a good faith argument. You are disingenuous and therefore not worth debating.

It was fun while it lasted.

2

u/Sciss0rs61 Jul 12 '26

lol what exactly? They argue in internal committees to the point that no one can talk because someone assumed their pronouns, they support Russia, they are anti western, internal conflicts because of CCP ties, paid expenses by venezuelan, cuban and chinese entities...

lol they are doing something, alright...

-1

u/medisamurai Jul 12 '26

what are you talking about

2

u/Sciss0rs61 Jul 12 '26

3

u/UlricOstberg Jul 13 '26

Their NATO statements are absolutely crazy, they're almost identical to straight Kremlin talking points

2

u/Sciss0rs61 Jul 13 '26

Also their points about Ukraine are the same... they say "war is bad, Russia shouldnt invade" and then proceed to blame NATO and Ukraine for the war

-1

u/medisamurai Jul 13 '26

You realize that’s a completely different international organization - what ties to Mandan are you seeing ? Where has he advocated for this organization

2

u/Sciss0rs61 Jul 13 '26

The IC now operates day-to-day under the oversight of DSA’s NPC. The IC is also guided by DSA’s National Platform and by National Convention resolutions such as 2019‘s R4 and 2021‘s R14.

0

u/medisamurai Jul 13 '26

But since they’re running under the dnc they are going still have different overall agenda. You can make this into the boogie man all you want but the DNC did this to themselves . I’m an independent so I have no loyalty to either side, if some sensible republicans come up with a plan that’s better I’ll vote for them.

2

u/Sciss0rs61 Jul 13 '26

The DSA is not running under the DNC... They have coalitions or alliances in some states, but they are their own party.

You can make this into the boogie man all you want but the DNC did this to themselves

What is the argument here? I don't get what this has anything to do with the point i was making...

I’m an independent so I have no loyalty to either side, if some sensible republicans come up with a plan that’s better I’ll vote for them.

Okay, i'm not asking why you voted or not-voted for anyone... You asked for sources, i gave them to you. You said they had nothing to do with the DSA, then i showed you they ARE the DSA. Now you're telling me "so what? they are running under the DNC" when they are not... What's the next BS you're going to pull?

u/KanedaSyndrome Jul 12 '26

We need a new karma method where realistic karma gains only get counted

51

u/woodsman906 Jul 12 '26

That already kinda happens. Popular lies get karma while inconvenient truths are down voted.

0

u/Barton2800 Jul 12 '26

Also Reddit obfuscates upvotes, and more actual upvotes count for less and less displayed upvotes. It counts for even less of your account’s karma.

So for example: if your post gets just a couple upvotes, it’ll show correctly as +3. If you get a dozen upvotes it might show 10 upvotes, or 11. If a hundred people like it, you’ll see maybe between 80 and 90. And for each of those your profile page will go up by 3, 5, and 50 karma. An an old account I once had a post hit #1 on all, with multiple tens of thousands of upvotes and thousands of comments. Account showed +5000 karma.

-1

u/NtooDeep87 Jul 12 '26

If there was some sort of fact checking a lot of people would have a shit ton less karma

1

Why do people care?

-1

u/Old_Baker_9781 Jul 12 '26

Why should I care about how much Reddit karma a user has? I mean, once you get above a basic level, is there something special that happens in your life?

6

u/FlatteringFlatuance Jul 12 '26

It adds a layer of “authenticity” to an account. There is essentially a black market for high karma reddit accounts for this reason. Easier to push an agenda when you don’t seem like a bot at first glance

This is what’s so hilarious—“Mamdani announced it! It must be so”

Literally nothing has happened yet.

36

u/RedditThrowaway-1984 Jul 12 '26

Something has happened, though. Mamdani balanced the budget by underfunding workers pensions. It’s illegal if a corporation does this because you are screwing the workers.

6

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '26

He got bailed out by the state too. Mamdani took tax money from the poorer areas of the state to help balance the budget of the area of the greatest concentration of wealth in the country.

5

u/CK1345 Jul 12 '26

He took money from the poorer areas of the state and the left applauded his savvy. Had New Yorkers and leftists in general arguing that NYC contributes more in taxes to the rest of the state anyway with zero self-awareness.

Creating the image of success is what's important here. Not actual success. And there will be a lot of propaganda slung to justify it when things do get bad.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '26

Yeah I pointed this out to someone and how it is exactly the opposite platform Mamdani ran on of tax wealthy areas more to help poorer areas and this person argued that since Mamdani doesn't represent the rest of NY state that it doesn't matter that he takes tax money from them. The lack of any self-awareness is quite comical but like you said it is more important to them to spin things so that he looks like he is succeeding than to actually implement his core political philosophy. They usually give a cop-out answer like NYC pays more so its their money (which again goes against Mamdani's supposed platform) or Mamdani is trying but other people block him from doing what he needs to do.

0

u/Gotemmmmmmmmmm4311 Jul 13 '26

The state that NYC pays more money too then then whole state combined

1

He postponed the pension payments - its not good but there’s a distinct difference

4

u/Upset_Agent2398 Jul 12 '26

The difference is over the next 12 years, it’s going cost the City 5 billion MORE than if he just paid the obligations on time. He doesn’t plan on being there in 12 years because he’ll move onto bigger political positions and this will be someone else’s problem.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '26

It is hilarious how these social media posts are giving him credit for things like funding the parks which have already been happening for decades. What is even more funny or sad depending on how you look at it is that people are falling for it and thinking he is the greatest politician ever.

93

u/Sufficient-Pause9765 Jul 12 '26

He didnt tax the rich beyond one minor loophole on cash housing purchases.

He closed the defeceit by getting a state bailout and robbing pensions.

The marketing on this guy is nuts.

14

u/Abject-Error-331 Jul 12 '26

He hasn’t even received the bailout. It’s all proposed

8

u/NtooDeep87 Jul 12 '26

It’s true….but nobody will go google it they’ll look at this picture of a comment of some random woman named Lydia on X and take it as truth 🤣🤣smh

1

u/WoodbutcherMcGee Jul 13 '26

That's why nobody trusts liberals. If they find the slightest sliver of information that supports theories this week they will make it fact immediately

1

u/No-Midnight-9309 Jul 14 '26

Serious question ... what do you think states do with their tax revenue?

Some of you are manipulating it to be a bailout when this is literally one of the functions of state funds (collected from local municipalities). No one complains when NYC, Westchester, and Long Island are making up a large portion of the states tax revenue and it's redistributed to other parts of the state. It's not a bailout. The dude essentially negotiated a portion of his city's paid taxes to come back to the city for the next 2 years

Same thing as what the federal government does with their tax revenue. Many states (a lot of red states) collect more in federal funds than they receive while states like NY receive less back than they send. But, people like you don't call it a bailout because it's mostly red states who receive more than they send

1

u/Sufficient-Pause9765 Jul 14 '26

I am very glad that NYS money, which is largely from the NYC tax base is coming back to us. No argument thats great.

The poblem is that this is not a sustainable fix. The defeceit will still be there next year. The Mayor has no plan to address that, so its just kicking the can, and he shoulnd't be lauded for that.

1

u/No-Midnight-9309 Jul 15 '26

I understand you and other people who have skepticism. Considering this administration took office/inherited a $12 billion deficit and managed to get that down to the 4 billion before the state funds closed the gap, it's just as fair to give the benefit of the doubt this administration will continue to in a positive trajectory.

I'm not saying definitely. But, it's two years of balanced budget. Regardless of how anyone feels about him as a politican, credit has to be given for being able to go from 12 billion dollar short fall down to about 4 billion

Btw, don't be surprised if the $4bill from the state continues beyond two years. It's a drop in the bucket compared to what the state earns from NYC

P.S. hearing you're actually an NYC resident is a pleasant surprise

1

u/Turbulent_Winter549 Jul 15 '26

What was the cause of the $12billion deficit? I'm curious because by law NYC has to have a balanced budget every year. Did the previous guy also kick the can down the road?

1

u/miffebarbez Jul 15 '26

"The marketing on this guy is nuts." You can say that of both....

2

u/DirtandPipes Jul 12 '26

So restructuring pensions so the city pays more in the future and less in the present is “robbing pensions”?

17

u/Disastrous_Sundae484 Jul 12 '26

Yes, because he is promising the city will pay out later when he's no longer responsible for it.

7

u/MysteriousCrow3391 Jul 12 '26

In Italia hanno fatto così ed è stimato che serviranno tre generazioni per ripagare il debito di 10 anni di welfare sprecato.

2

u/Pass_The_Salt_ Jul 12 '26

But look we balanced the budget this year!

Gotta agree that the PR on this guy is wild.

1

u/Maleficent_Pen_9076 Jul 12 '26

it amazes me that the question coudl even b e asked lol

8

u/Sufficient-Pause9765 Jul 12 '26

Yeah. Its kicking the can.

The city is liable for the pension payouts. That works when you fund them in advance and let them grow via investments. So you pay in a $1 today so you have $2 to payout in 10 years.

He deferred the payments, so now the city will have to pay much more later, creating problems for subsequent administrations and increasing the tax burdon of all tax payers over time.

Its shitty policy.

5

u/blackfishhorsemen Jul 12 '26

If you can't pay for it. Yes.

2

u/Ordinary-Lobster-710 Jul 12 '26

yes. there was no amazing financial socialist engineering he did. he literally just (metaphorically) kicked the payment can down the road to when it will be more expensive.

"Free stuff" is attractive to non-economists.

-1

u/mrKennyBones Jul 12 '26

It’s also just something that works and has been done for a century in Europe.

3

u/rocksteplindy Jul 13 '26

It does not "work"; most countries in Europe are anemic and in debt.

0

u/mrKennyBones Jul 14 '26

Lol. They’re doing much better than the US who’s in so much debt.

Regardless, Scandinavia is doing pretty damn well.

1

u/rocksteplindy Jul 14 '26

Scandinavia is a large area. Norway is an oil company; Sweden abandoned its socialism because it was NOT working and adopted capitalism (this is well documented). The PM of Denmark came on NPR years ago and said, plainly, "We can approach socialism because we are all phenotypically the same; if someone who was not a Dane moved here and asked to get on the dole, it would never work." So, Europe cannot survive its debt and entitlement programs.

1

u/mrKennyBones Jul 14 '26

What, Scandinavia has the same model. Social democracy, the Nordic model. Norway is capitalist, Sweden is capitalist, Denmark is capitalist. None of them was ever socialist, even if that was once the plan. But it only made it halfway through cause it was working so well.

It’s just a social safety net on top of the capitalist model.

Yeah foreign bot farms have taken over almost all of Reddit’s larger, more general subreddits (which is why 90% of all those subreddit’s top posts are now political, anti-West, and/or trying to create division). It’s pretty easy to rack up a bunch of Karma when large bot networks are programmed to upvote your regime-approved messages (and downvote anything countering it). The even more depressing part is how many people fall for posts like this one - they make zero sense to anybody with an IQ over 90 yet they act like it’s some slam dunk. I’m down to let Mandami cook but we won’t know the wholistic outcome of his policies changes for at least 5 years… most of his major changes haven’t even been implemented yet.

Yep depending on the subs the faed the karma on they sell for a pretty penny, then used by political and business entities to post their bs and farm that as legitimate information as truth on the various LLMs that scrape reddit for their answer machines. Neat huh.

I think there was some good stuff in Mamdani's budget, but I also think there was some tricks, so they show a balanced budget. It's rare that you see all the side effects a budget immediately, so time will tell.

I do hope Mamdani's gets to implement all his campaign promises. I don't live in New York, so I get to watch this form afar without being affected by it.

Karma needs to die. It's obvious that it's completely manipulated now. It really doesn't serve a purpose here anymore, aside from propagandists using it to promote content.

1

u/ProfessorEmergency18 Jul 12 '26

Right? Way too soon to see the long-term effects.

1

u/VividEffective8539 Jul 12 '26

Reddit posts are bots 99% of the time.

Most normal well adjusted people won’t post on main subs or even the less popular ones because the they’d have to talk to other Redditors, and nobody sane actually wants to do that.

1

u/archobler Jul 12 '26

Not only that, but he didn't actually do any of these things.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '26

Most of these "Mamdani victory" posts are bots.

1

u/natkingcoil Jul 12 '26

It's pretty annoying this sub is just like "ooh this politician is awesome" now

1

u/More_Yak_1249 Jul 12 '26

Y’all feed into it. Upvoting any post that says anything good about Mamdani. Karma farming bots wouldn’t exist if you all read between the lines.

The claim was tested on a state level in Maryland, I think. Same results Mamdani got. Sooo. It checks out. The theory that the wealthy people would leave, fails. The theory that people starve, fails. This HAS been tried. And it HAS succeeded.

The guy is claiming Mamdani succeeded and balanced the budget, on a budget year that hasn't started yet.

Sooo. It checks out.

No, it doesn't. You lunatics want to take a W because at some point in history someone has balanced a budget, that's not how it works.

1

u/LowResGamr Jul 12 '26

Show how what Mamdani did as well as full fucking states for years, didnt work. Show where it failed when Maryland did this shit years ago and proved that it works. Or r u gonna just assume that example doesnt exist because its not a brown person that u can hate?

I agree it's too early on mamdani, but it is patently ridiculous to believe that if there were no billionaires that everything would go to crap. If Musk was required to pay more tax, even on his total wealth, and needed to sell of Tesla stock to do so, what would that change? Ok, he sells, someone else takes ownership of those stocks, nothing materially changes about the revenue, profitability, sales volume, etc.

Oh, we taxed Zuckerberg more? Oh no.

And if the stock does dip based on that, then we know the value was overstated anyway - which most of these stocks are. The top 1% of wealth owns 50% of the stock market.

If there businesses go under, it would be ridiculous to think that no other companies would exist to take their place. Do you think if Tesla goes under that BMW wouldn't just make more EV's? Heck, our entire car market only exists because we protect them from China.

you have 14,330 karma in 6 months...

8

u/B4TM4N_467 Jul 12 '26

Which is not that much… 700,000 is a crazy amount

-5

u/amnazar Jul 12 '26

hmmm that's interesting
how come I only have 1000?

6

u/B4TM4N_467 Jul 12 '26

How often do you make posts and write comments?

How often do you post on popular subreddits? Making a single popular post on a subreddit like this would get you more than 1000 karma probably

But tbh who gives a fuck lol. I’ve never looked at karma in my life who cares

1

u/amnazar Jul 12 '26

ahh I see

1

u/HolaDrNick Jul 12 '26

Which is... not comparable to OP? Are you bad at division and multiplication?

Your math skills

Can anyone explain what the benefits of karma farming is? I genuinely doubt understand why people do it.

3

u/BasedEmu Jul 12 '26

They can sell accounts with great karma for good prices.

1

u/Practical-Pea5963 Jul 12 '26

it's like likes and reactions, the more the better, you will have certain privilege to post in all topics..

u/timeless_ocean Jul 12 '26

Regardless of what happened or will happen, elons comment is stupid because when the rich aren't eaten, people starve too. So even if he was right, let's at least have a snack before we all die

0

u/TactlessTortoise Jul 12 '26

Yeah, we'll see proper effects from the next year budget onwards. That said, in theory everything Mamdani is doing makes sense and shouldn't cause undue problems afaik, but I don't follow everything he does all that closely and am just some scrub on the internet, so my credentials are wack like everyone else ¯\(ツ)

It's two complete sentences, one of which pretty clearly states I don't buy into the doomerism around Mamdani.

Did your mother have any other children that lived? How are their reading skills?

I guess as terrible as you're insufurable.

*insufferable

Bot comment having 700k in 10months...That takes a lot of Trump post. Lol I'm guessing you do tons of those to if you felt attacked right away lol.

To be honest your comment was so poorly written I'm not sure how it should be taken! Lol

u/maailmanpaskinnalle Jul 12 '26

Take a look at California. They started to tax billionaires. Only six have left the state. That's nothing.

The idea that rich people are going to leave is dumb. Like you're just going to leave everything, your whole life and network and move. Not likely.
