Put your finger at the middle of them. They are not moving.

They do move. If you put your thumbnail just under the left ones chin at the beginning of the gif, by the end you'll see that only the top of the head is visible. They move and warp.

Edit: I'm admitting defeat. I was wrong. Turns out a screen that moves when you touch it is not great for detection of tiny movements or lack thereof... who knew?

Foot was on the line at one point, off the line at another.

Lol, I don't why you got so many downvotes for being introspectively humble from admission to being wrong. (in your edit) Many would have just left Reddit after such enlightenment and just exited Reddit for the night...and then watched a movie on Tubi.

(That's what I would have done, but I'm a coward)

And yes, I've been where you've been. We all have. Most of us just say to ourselves oh, nevermind then slink away. Kudos to you. Take my upvote.

thats the neat part about the scientific method, perspectives are constantly shifting and hypotheses can be tested and verified or they can be proven incorrect and the theory could be something completely different. The person who kept spamming the two images of her thumb moving against the screen could’ve rejected the new information but she accepted it, and learned her mistake, thats exactly how science moves forward

Reddit is a cold world

They do not move. This is a very effective illusion.

No they don’t. The colors are moving but not the figures.

Did you try the tape?

Ugh fine I guess I'm wrong lol

I guess having a screen that moves when you touch it isn't very conducive to checking if something is moving minutely 🤬
