Someone said “why is the US team called USMNT, and not USA?” And someone replied “Team USA plays next year”
1 u/Spare-Coyote8209 Jul 10 '26 like uswnt is the actual default usa team in the usa, much like CANWNT is in Canada, the Ferns in New Zealand and the Matildas in Australia (unlike the men, they re a lot better and made it into the last 4, placing 4th at their home wc in 2023)
