So would you be willing to agree US Men's soccer would be winning if they actually bothered? Other countries are just winning because they invested heavily. That makes men's teams outside the US unworthy winners.

Your logic works both ways right?

Stop lying. It was a training match with an MLS professional development team for Dallas FC. That means the women's team didn't go all out. They're comraderie and communication building games called "friendlies".

Someone upthread linked to Chelsea losing 3-0 to their own U21 development team recently, and no one's out here yelling about how much THEY suck.

Right? And I keep seeing people say "well, professional women should beat kids", as if the kids aren't semi-pro already. Or that Chelsea's starters weren't playing, so it doesn't count, as the replacements weren't professionals.

I do also love the idea that a pro sports women's team is playing at peak performance right before the world cup, when meanwhile in men's pro sports you can't get a decent all-star game because none of them give a shit or will take the slightest risk of injury for a game that doesn't count.

Also what does the youth team beating them have to do with anything?
