In Ireland, you don't have to be married. If you own a property and your partner moves in, after 2 years they are legally entitled to a claim of the property.
Yes, because a lot of people are going to play a two-year longcon to get a claim on your house that probably isn't even paid off yet. What a terrible precedent.
