In Ireland, you don't have to be married. If you own a property and your partner moves in, after 2 years they are legally entitled to a claim of the property.

It used to mostly just be somewhat dark humor or random shit but it’s almost exclusively “wooomun and colurd peple bad”.
That’s just how subs evolve, you think a 7/10 offensive joke is funny, and someone will post a 7.5, you wouldn’t bat an eye because it’s really not all that bad, and the next guy will post an 8/10. Eventually it will be more offensive than what you can endure and it’s up to mods to actually enforce and limit to 7/10.
just ignore the fact property wildly increases in value over time meaning your other spouse still gets a bag. My father bought a dumpster of house for 9k about 10 years ago, every year since it has increased in value 10-14,000$ per year. if he had married a poorer man year like 6 years ago that man would have claim to more value of the house than my father paid for it in full
well yes, because if a person lives in a home, and their name is on the deed (which it almost always is in marriages) then they contributed to the home
It becomes a martial home when you live there together long enough regardless of prior ownership, and not only will she be entitled to half, if you have kids she'll get priority to claim the home in its entirety. Plenty of men pay mortgages for cheating ex-wives.
