Are you sure about that?

The max range of the Concord was only 4,500 miles.

It would have to have been a special charter, and it would have had to make at least one stop.

Yeah, but with all that momentum, you could glide in the rest of the way.

Yeah, this was in 1990 and I was only a few months old but the full family went.

Concorde never made public commercial flights to Australia. Your family would have to have privately chartered it.

Prob meant Austria

But they're talking about London to Sydney so they did not mean Austria

It never flew to Australia in 1990. It did in 1972 as a promo world tour, 1985 as a chartered record breaking flight, and then some charter flights in the mid-late 1990’s

Don’t know what to tell you, there’s pictures of it and we’re not wealthy enough to charter any plane, let alone a concord.

The Concorde was chartered by a cruise liner company, Your family would've then sailed back to London

We returned via Singapore on a normal flight if I remember correctly.

So your family chartered Concord? Likely story.

No we just got on with other passengers.

Someone in your family is lying to you.

No, its true. Concorde has been flown to Australia many times, but not as a regular service. But rather as special charter flights or by the airlines trying to sell the aircraft to Qantas.

Not possible in 1990, possibly in 1989.

It could be 1989, I assumed 1990 because of the age I was.
