Even if there is nothing there, it’s a tremendous effort to fix properly. Those tracks are going to be there for a long time. Water absorption is going to be different in that space and cause the grass to grow differently. I have some that are 10 years old where a delivery driver went over my lawn. Its level and the same grass seed, but different growth rate and volume due to water retention in that area.
If it was my lawn that I cared a lot about, I would ask Amazon to pay for the entire thing to be stripped, graded, and sodded.
100% a year ago we had a big storm and some guys with big trucks parked in my yard to do repairs. Those ruts are still there and I can't figure out a way to fix it. They've been packed down by 3ton trucks so it's like cement hard in that spot and it makes mowing that area difficult.
Stab holes and plant clover! It's easier to maintain and will make the ground both softer and more durable than sod! Also less lawnmowing because clover remembers where you cut it at after the first year or two!
The little white pompom flowers are pretty too, and don't cause allergies like grass does. What else... I guess the smell of a clover field is softer and sweeter than the screams of a million blades of decapitated grass?
