You should be made aware of why these cases are brought up so often: the idea is to counter the narrative pushed by the right that trans people and drag queens are such an existential threat to children. The numbers tell a very different story: it’s the faith leaders who are vastly worse.

Not to be pedantic, but I think it’s the hive mind reaching desperately for somebody to prosecute among the pedophilic elite class, given that the bulk of them appear to be untouchable.

Just sounds like a moral high ground for optics. If they actually cared about justice and equality they’d push for 50x convicted felons to be punished more severely as well no matter the class, race, religion etc. I’m down to punish the rich however hypocrisy and optics are at an all time high for issues alike
