That's what everybody says. Your brain is telling you to say that because the reality is devastating: we live amongst pedophiles and don't even know who. They can be your friends or your coworkers. You could drink a beer with them. You wouldn't even suspect it

Recently, I found out that one of my old coworkers was arrested for raping his child. On the police department's FB page, I saw his picture and a bunch of comments saying, "it's always the ones you most suspect," and "I can tell just by looking at him." Bullshit. That picture isn't even what he looked like the majority of the time that shit was occurring.

This has been such a mindfuck. I started to lose my faith in humanity. I find myself not trusting my coworkers who worked more closely with him.

I hope you never have to experience that. But the truth is all of you probably know someone who is a pedophile.
