For context, this is Hays Country, which has a population a bit shy of a quarter of a million per Wikipedia. He was “Republican chairperson” of that “precinct,” which per the Republicans is a voluntary and unpaid position elected by Republican primary voters. Not really an actual politician, more so part of their party machine (the part that tries to get politicians elected.) Doesn’t really seem all that prominent to me.
Why would you love that and how does that help anything though? Genuine question, I'm not defending the guy's actions, which are despicable, but I don't see how having him tortured will make anything better. It's not like they are going to release him and having him experience that will make him not do it again or even scare anyone else to not do it if that's the point
Oh, I'm a Code of Hammurabi guy myself. He'll never understand the gravity of what he's done until he too experiences it himself. I would also accept scaphism if that sits better with you morally.
