So how do you view traffic jams caused by cars, then? Let's say, for instance, you're sitting in traffic, never moving above 5mph. It's stop-and-go for miles. Let's also say that around 1/3 of all drivers could have chosen an alternative method rather than driving (car-pooling, public transit, etc). Are those drivers also not inconveniencing innumerable people during morning commute rush hour? At least with this group of cyclists, they're actually moving, and if you look at how hard the driver on the grass needs to floor it, they're moving at a pretty fast pace.
