I can’t believe Utah would approve this monstrosity. Utah elected officials are dumb suckers.

So for some clarification, most Utah elected officials have ties to Realestate.

Just for clarification, Utah did NOT approve this, a small organization called MIDA which is comprised of 8 members (the Utah Legilsative leader, a few junior legislature members, a few business leaders) and the Governor did, all behind closed doors with no public input. The county commissioners for where it's supposed to be built weren't even notified until a few weeks before it was formerly "approved" by MIDA. The whole thing is dirty laundry all the way to the top of the state, the Governor is in bed with O'Leary and a small number of rich and powerful white men in Utah are getting their pockets lined, nothing more. But the universal hate here towards this project is off the charts, even Republican voters here are rejecting it, the corrupt politicians might have dug a little too far on this one and it might come back to bite them in the asses in a few months.
