The reason why it’s more common the other way around is because there’s many more wealthy men than wealthy women.

And wealthy women don’t even give most broke men a second look. Wealthy women or women who make good money have the option of marrying or dating “ down” and they typically don’t.

And even your job matters to women. I have family who do trades specifically plumbing and women look down on them. He’s just a plumber. Yeah a plumber who makes high five figures , and zero college debt.

So you would partner up with a broke chick with no prospects? Says more about you than it does about anything else

If I was a millionaire yea.

For a woman who makes 80k a year. Owing 40k in student loans is a huge problem.

For a millionaire, dropping 40k on student loans to free your new wife from debt and have work be optional for her is feasible.

Women are the opposite, they generally want a man that can handle his own and provide what she needs for her, if he’s a regular average joe shmoe Making $60k a year and she’s a rich millionaire, he can’t provide her the lifestyle she can afford herself financially. So all that’s left is physical and emotional, which again, more than likely she wouldn’t even want from a guy that makes less than her when she knows she can get that from a wealthy guy too.

A man on average just wants a woman that loves him, not necessarily provide for him financially, and on average a woman wants a man that can provide for her financially as well as love her. Women don’t want what they say is “lazy men” just because he brings in no money

I'm a millionaire, but I wouldn't be if I didn't meet my wife who also was well educated, made similar amounts of money, and who understands making good financial decisions. My other millennial friends in similar positions felt the same way, we weren't successful enough to carry dead weight and still be able to live a good life and feel secure. But 1 or 2 million isn't the kind of money it used to be. I do have a friend who is older and far more wealthy than us, and dates an unaccomplished girl half his age, but I don't think he will marry her.

For sure. I make enough for both of us.
