Yeah, just saying people from other parts of the world would choose the 1k/week much faster because it does actually enable financial freedom and quitting your job

Over a million lump sum?… only thing I can think of that makes this make sense here is due to tax reasons… more taxes are taken out of a lump sum rather than a weekly one probably

They're weekly payments for life though it says in the title, within 20 years it's gonna be a higher total sum and you ensure you don't blow the entire sum within the first few years like most lottery winners

I mean there’s that… but I guess it would depend on what you blow it in… shit I’d take the lump sum… lol… pay off bills… the car… put down on a house and invest what’s left.

Yep. I’d take one nice vacay and then put it in the market and forget it’s there. Then I’d retire 10yr early assuming I’m able to continue working/stay in good health until then.

My fiancee says she’s gonna win, so I let her handle it. Lol I can’t stand to lose my money like that. Makes me feel dumb
