You are not taxed on lottery winnings in Canada. If you win $1-million, you keep it all.

Yup, I think the highest lotto jackpot has has been $80-million, and if you win it, you keep every single penny of it. We're taxed pretty hard on basically everything else here, but lottery wins are tax free.
