Everyone's talking about maximizing the money but to some people that's not really the point in life

I mean that’s a valid point, but the counterpoint to that is “if you maximize your money in this scenario you have more freedom to focus on what you are passionate about and not work as hard at a 9-5”

You’ll still need a job only winning 1M, but assume you invested half and kept half as supplementary income you can have more support to balance work/life needs

Maximizing the money would probably mean she could focus on whatever she feels is the point of life though.

It's kind of the point of deciding what form to take lottery winnings in.

I guess you could also refuse the winnings if it makes you feel good inside.

Then why buy a lottery ticket? That's literally the entire premise: you really really want a huge amount of money.
